My own personal health journey with migraine headaches led me to helping others. I used to count calories and use diet programs that would only work in the short-term. This type of “dieting” led me to eat more processed foods than my body could handle. Instead I wanted to find a way to feel good, as well as fit into my clothes! I was fed up with the way migraines made me feel, so I eliminated processed foods from my diet. WOW, what a difference it made. I also suffered from IBS, which went away with a whole foods diet!
I wanted to help others transform their health the way I did, so I decided to enroll in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
In today’s busy world, it is easy to get off track because we lose focus as to what we should be doing to live a healthy, complete life. Not only do I help people reach their health goals, but I empower people by teaching them how to take control of their own health and live life to the fullest. I do not advocate any one specific way of eating. I believe that each person’s dietary needs are unique to them as an individual.
Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
